Today I need a good laugh. So I thought I'd share some "you probably had to be there" moments.
Sitting on my kitchen counter is a little Tupperware of doggy treats. Ever since nika was a puppy, we bribe her to do her thing outside. and she does fabulous. Every time she comes in from outside, she gets a little treat. Peanut butter flavored. Well, in some homes, its normal to have a little bowl of treats sitting on the counter. Human treats. Not dog treats. Sometimes, when we have people over, they see the little bowl of treats. They've been eaten. by my kids.(which I actually encouraged them, just so they'd know how it tasted; and I was secretly curious too). They've been eaten by adults. They have been fed by adults to their children, thinking they were treats. I always find it funny who has tried them. And no. I won't be sharing names. ha ha ha. you want a treat?
I must have been desperate for a good hard laugh the other day. We were watching a movie which had way more bad language in it than we expected. Chloe was playing "guys" and Jerom and avery were playing computer games. Jerom caught on pretty quick that there was lots of bad words in the movie. After about an hour of it, one of the characters said 'Shut up" and Avery calls out "That was a bad word!!" I laughed and laughed and laughed; she didn't catch the other worse words...in her mind "shut up" is a swear word. I love the innocence.
We just ended spring break. No more funnies. sorry. Abe and I did go hike down the grand canyon on a little hike some may have heard of...havasupai? Its a beautiful place. THanks to Shauna and Wayne for letting us tag along!!
Jerom is officially in scouts! He put together his car and raced in his first pinewood derby. Lucky kid scored 2nd place in the 3 ward competition. Way to go Jerom!
One day we went swimming. Fun. I loved Sedona and would love to go back and check out all the little shops and wander around there. What a beautiful place.
Friday our friends hooked us up with guest passes to the phoneix zoo. My kids weren't in the mood for pictures; apparently animals are more fun to look at than the camera. So you can see the backs of their heads.

After a picnic lunch, we hiked up this hill to a "hole in the rock" beautiful view of the town.
Today I made a countdown to the end of the school year. 34 more days of school. Ekk I was supposed to leave 3 minutes ago to get kids from the bus. bye!

I just laughed so hard at this post! My kids think the cat treats are yogurt bites (same kind of pouch, i guess) and they've eaten them on more than one occassion!! LOL!
And look at you hiking all over the place, you're my hero!
:)
Such fun pictures! And what a funny post! Thanks for sharing the laughs!
